Frithia pulchra

Frithia pulchra

Frithia pulchra is the only Frithia, but it does have both pink and white flowered forms, there is also a small leaved form. It comes from a summer rainfall area in north eastern South Africa. In habitat the contractile leaves are buried, with only the windowed tips showing, hence the common name of "Fairy Elephant's Feet".
