THE TEESSIDE BRANCH PHOTO GALLERY
Lobivia kermesina x Trichocereus
Many different Lobivias are seen in collections and as well as the true species, there are a good number of hybrids around as well. Purists often turn
their noses up at hybrid plants but, provided no attempt is made to pass them off as anything other than hybrids, there is nothing wrong with them. Indeed, they often have better characteristics - particularly flower size and colour - than the true species, thus making them all the more collectable.
