Stapelia leendertziae
This plant, thought to be Stapelia leendertziae with its flowers not quite open, was seen on Bonita Beach on the west coast of Florida, USA, where it was thriving in the garden of a beach property. It was in the shade of some trees, but apparently growing in beach sand - it was certainly doing well having reached a clump size of 1 to 2 metres (3 to 6 feet) across.
