Huernia confusa

Huernia confusa
Huernia confusa comes from the group of plants commonly known as the "lifebuoy" group. This name comes from the distinctive swollen annular ring (clearly seen in the photograph). It is not a difficult plant in cultivation, though like most Stapeliads it likes a little heat in the winter, and it is quite free flowering.

H. confusa comes from the Transvaal, South Africa.
