Diplocyathia ciliata

Diplocyathia ciliata
Diplocyathia ciliata was the only member of this genus, though current taxonomy would suggest there are in fact no members and D. ciliata should now be referred to the genus Orbea. Diplocyathia means 'Double Cup' and refers to the prominent annulus in the throat of the flower. The plant bodies are usually a mix of ordinary and monstrous, usually mostly monstrous, stems.
